My name is Ali Rodgers, I am a junior at Appalachian State University. I am an Elementary Education major, and I plan to graduate in May 2011. I hope to teach when I graduate, and eventually go back to school to get my masters. I have the most precious dog named Paisley, she is a black lab and beagle mix. I like to go running and take Paisley on walks. Shopping is probably my favorite hobby, but if there is not a mall near by I really like to do puzzles when I’m bored!

Ali I loved your portrait poem! I thought it was very heartfelt and very unique to you. I liked that line that said that the future is getting close because it really is and that is something we should all remember. It is exciting but scary too! And your pictures are beautifuL!

Ali! I loved your poems as well! I am very much afraid of being alone as well and that I always will be! I also want to make a difference teaching and I know that we for sure will and impact kids lives like none other =) and pretty pretty picture!

Your acrostic poem is really unique and creative. I enjoyed your biography…I really like doing puzzles when I’m bored too! I’d like to meet your dog sometime, I’m hoping to get one soon.

Ali,
I enjoyed reading your poems. You seem like a very energetic and loving person. I see that you have “organic” as the O in your poem. I tried eating organic but it only latest for one day. More power to you girl!!!

Thanks for sharing Ali. I share your fear for heights and spiders. Where do you want to teach after you graduate?
